What Hits!? Was released by Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1992 and is a best of – compilation of tracks from their first four albums, including one song from Blood Sugar Sex Magik (Under The Bridge, that is) and another one from the soundtrack to the movie Pretty Woman – Show Me Your Soul.
The title of this compilation was meant to be ironic – alluding to theirs lack of success, as many of the tracks on what was supposed to be a ‘greatest hits’ compilation were singles that peaked low in the charts, even too low to be considered ‘hits’. However, Under The Bridge should be set aside, as an exception – read more about its success in my Blood Sugar Sex Magik review.
